CHICAGO—Centrum Properties today announced its new Development Director for The Roosevelt Collection as Larry Powers. Powers is responsible for overseeing and assisting large-scale retail development activities.

A graduate of Butler University, he previously worked in development at The Westfield Group, where he opened three retail projects totaling over 175 million dollars.

Centrum Properties has been named a Builder 100 company. It is based in Chicago and was founded in 1980. In addition to creating innovative residential spaces nation-wide, Centrum has developed major commercial spaces like 600 West, a 1.5 million square foot state-of-the-art office and technology project. Roosevelt Collection, a mixed-use development with over one million square feet of lifestyle retail, is currently under construction.

The Westfield Group is the world’s largest listed retail property group by equity market capitalization. The Group has interests in and operates a global portfolio of 118 high-quality regional shopping centers in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States, valued at more than $63 billion.
