An article in Crain’s Chicago Business recently highlighted the Roosevelt Collection’s contribution to the ongoing development in South Loop.
The 12-acre development will be the largest mixed-use project in the fast-growing South Loop. Anchored by a 16-screen Kerasotes Showplace Theatre, the project will sit just west of the Target at Roosevelt Road and Clark Street and stretch north to Polk Street.
Buyers have signed contracts for almost half of the 342 condos in the project’s first phase, and retailers have signed leases or letters of intent for about 80% of its retail space.
The residency is certainly unique in that it will give it’s 12 acre space a promising face lift. The project will include a 400,000 square-foot shopping center, lush park area, and nearly 1,000 condos. This will undoubtedly allow The Roosevelt Collection to establish itself as a leader in the continued development of the South Loop as a hip, up and coming neighborhood.
