Fall has only begun to peak its head out and my brain is entertaining the idea of relocating to a warmer climate. Generally, these kinds of thoughts don’t cross my mind until I’m bracing my body against negative 30 wind-chill and gritting my teeth (in good Chicagoan fashion) as I’m mercilessly pelted in the face with sleet. First 5 minutes: Being cold is awful. Why do I live here again?
5 minutes later: Stop it. You’re being ridiculous. Its not really that cold.
10 minutes later: I can’t feel my toes. I’ve got to get out of here this winter…
