As a city dweller of several years, I have become quite adept to the mildly chaotic hum of Chicago in motion. Its familiarity is even half-comforting. However, about once a month I go through a few day stint in which I long for my rural roots; trees, fresh air, lakes and grass un-restricted by polite iron fencing.
So, I can’t help but feel a twinge of desire when I read about Centrum’s The Cove at Doublehead, in Alabama. The project features private homes along the serene panorama of Lake Wilson. The Lake shore is characterized by natural rock and a pine forrest dense enough to create a kind of organic air conditioning. And, with outdoor activities to satiate the most adventurous spirit–fishing, golfing and boating to name a few–The Cove offers more than just a picturesque setting.
Sound enticing? There are a limited number of homes remaining and all are sure to be sold at the special closing event on September 1st.
