Move over Mag Mile and Gold Coast, a new neighborhood is hot in Chicago for the first time in years: the South Loop. With the help of Millennium Park and new real estate projects spurting up everywhere, this area is the city’s new desirable place to live. There was a time when glamorized living ended at the river but thanks to endeavors like Centrum’s Roosevelt Collection, a lifestyle and loft project, the South Loop is changing at a rapid pace.

The South Loop’s Prairie Avenue District was famed for being the home to Chicago’s rich and famous, including George Pullman and Marshall Field, during the last three decades of the 18th century. When factories and railroads moved in, the area’s wealthy residents moved out. Not until today has the area been hot again.

Developers like Centrum are beginning to redesign the south loop’s skyline. With exciting new projects, the area is just where the Northside of the river was about 20 years ago. Over one million square feet, our Roosevelt Collection is described as Chicago’s new Urban Playground, with premier shopping, dining, and entertainment. Living at the Roosevelt would surely never be boring and will greatly add to the South Loop scene.
